Powers —
Skills: While Sleeper is highly intelligent and capable of doing pretty much anything they set their mind to, they have no specific knowledges or talents beyond their natural abilities at this time.
Superpowers:
Symbiote Biology: Sleeper can amplify the physical characteristics of a host when bonded with one, and can also grant it the ability to produce chemicals while present. Even without a host, they are able to manifest a human or animal form at will. When bonded to a host, Sleeper is able to mask their presence so that the host may be unaware of them if needed. Additional symbiote abilities include:
- Superhuman Strength: Sleeper is able to lift a fair amount, although probably not more than a ton or two.
- Superhuman Durability: They are harder to hurt, and grant that ability to a host when bonded
- Superhuman Stamina: Probably related to the malleability and manipulation of body chemistry, Sleeper does not generally tire from exertion and can grant some of that to a host.
- Regenerative Healing Factor: Sleeper can restructure their body at will, providing nearly instant recovery from injuries not related to their racial weaknesses.
- Wall Crawling and Webbing Generation: Skills inhered via the Venom symbiote's previous experience with Spider-Man.
- Matter Manipulation and Generation: General shapeshifting, the ability to completely control and shape the alien ooze that is the general makeup of a symbiote. Sleeper is capable of creating limbs and body parts of any kind at will, including specialized structures like gills or natural weapons like fangs and claws, or even what would normally be real weapons like axe-like blades on the ends of their arms. They can shape their matter to resemble any material, organic or inorganic, including things like metal and crystal if desired.
- Camouflage Capabilities: Sleeper is able to shift their physical form to the semblance of many commonplace things, from inanimate objects to clothing. They can also shift to match surroundings or mimic another being for disguise, and even manipulate ambient light to become perfectly invisible. Linked with Chemokinesis, they can manipulate sensory inputs to be effectively overlooked or ignored with ease.
- Augmented Visual Senses: Sleeper is somehow able to see things that are cloaked and invisible to both the naked eye and technology. It is uncertain how they can do so.
- Chemokinesis: Sleeper has a unique biology that allows them to produce both liquid and aerosol chemicals of any kind they are familiar with. These can have a variety of effects, including inducing various emotional states, tranquilizing targets, psychological manipulation, and secreting corrosive chemicals for offensive purposes. They can use their ability to produce and manipulate pheromones to effectively form a telepathic link with an individual, allowing nonverbal communication without an actual host-bond. They can also cloak their presence even to other symbiotes, rendering their presence invisible. Other shown uses include creating rocket propulsion, flammable or corrosive substances, and acid.
Limitations: Like most members of their race, Sleeper is vulnerable to sound and fire, causing them to be unable to use their abilities. They also are limited in their ability to regenerate from fire and could be killed if excessively burned without a chance to recover.
Personality —
Please EITHER (1) Summarize your character's personality — including motivations, behaviors, and psychology — in 300-600 words OR (2) Respond to the questions below.
What were your character's most formative experiences?: Sleeper's first real action as an independent being was when they convinced Eddie to bond with them in order to rescue the Venom symbiote during the events of Venom: First Host. Sleeper was used as a pawn to force Venom to return to that host, and they clearly felt an obligation to fix that situation. When given the chance, Sleeper lobotomized the host in a manner similar to how Tel'Kar had controlled their parent and used that body for a period before ultimately abandoning the use of a host to stay beside their brother, Dylan Brock.
What values, morals, and/or philosophies does your character live by, and how are those beliefs demonstrated? What happens when they have to compromise what they believe in?
Sleeper's biggest loyalty is to their family, specifically Eddie and Dylan Brock and the Venom symbiote. They are less fond of their other kin, and largely unconnected to the hive as a whole. While largely choosing to stay uninvolved with the world at large, they do value life in its many forms and will fight to protect it, although they have no hesitation in taking extreme actions including lethal ones. Their main drive is protect Dylan and mostly just be. Whether their decision to resemble a cat has affected how they interact with the world or they were always like that, they often seem aloof and uninterested in things. However, they are also highly sensitive to those they care about and quite invested in their wellbeing.
What is your character afraid of? How does avoiding or preventing these fears influence their actions and decisions? Sleeper is probably most afraid of being enslaved by or dependent on any other being, especially in the manner of the host/symbiote bond. All bonds they have made were either them dominating or of a strictly temporary nature. They would be extremely reluctant to forgo autonomy for any reason, even if they found a truly compatible personality in a host.
What goals does your character have right now? What do they want, and how do they go about getting it? Sleeper is mostly a live-and-let-live kind of being, just wanting to do their own thing. They don't have any specific goals beyond their family and keeping them whole and cared for. While they are curious about many things, they are also a homebody in many ways, choosing inaction over action unless events drive them into it.

Gameplay —
Areas of Interest / Brainstorming: Sleeper is capable of bonding with any other living being, adding their power to another's for a shared purpose, and while not generally interested in such a relationship, it is definitely a possibility. They are also clearly non-human and disinclined to make efforts to blend in, which is definitely not the way of this world. Even in cat form, they do not hide their additional eyes or bother with actually creating fur, despite that degree of accuracy being perfectly within their skillset. They are also agender, not feeling the need to choose on the human binary as their species reproduces through an asexual manner.
